C Receipts Privacy Policy

C Receipts is an internal expense-submission app published by Confluence, Inc. ("Confluence", "we", "us") for use by Confluence employees and contractors.

What we collect and how it is used

When you sign in, the app reads your name and email address from your Microsoft account so it can show who is signed in and send mail from your mailbox.

When you submit a receipt, the app sends an email from your Confluence mailbox to receipts@thinkconfluence.com. That email contains the receipt image (from the camera or your photo library) and the reason and amount you entered. There is no separate Confluence server. The only destination is that mailbox, inside Confluence's Microsoft 365 environment.

Sign-in uses Microsoft's own login page. Your password is never seen by, or stored in, the app. Tokens are stored in the device's protected credential store and used only on that device while it is unlocked. Data in transit uses HTTPS.

Third parties

The app shares information with the following parties only. Each provides protection of your data equal to or greater than that described in this policy.

Microsoft. Handles sign-in, provides your name and email address, and sends, delivers, and stores the receipt emails, under Microsoft's standard data protection terms.

Expo. The app uses Expo's update service to deliver improvements without a full reinstall. Update checks send the app version and device platform. No receipt images, purchase details, account identity, or credentials are sent to Expo.

Retention and deletion

On your device, the app keeps a local record of your most recent 50 submissions (reason, amount, date, and a thumbnail). It is never uploaded. Older entries are discarded automatically. Clear History in the account panel deletes all of it. Sign-out and deleting the app also remove it, along with stored sign-in tokens.

Submitted receipts are ordinary email in your Sent Items and the receipts@thinkconfluence.com inbox. They are kept under Confluence's business records retention schedule. To request deletion or correction of a submitted receipt, contact privacy@thinkconfluence.com.

Sign out or delete the app to stop the app from accessing your information. That does not delete receipts already emailed.
